The following questions help us know more about you and your interest in accompaniment. You can answer in short or long answers - whatever works best for you to convey what you think is most important.
What is your level of Spanish? If your language skills are strong, are you able to interpret for others?
Why is accompaniment important to you? Why are you interested in accompaniment with PPF?
What special skills or talents do you bring to accompaniment service?
What is your state of health, mobility, or physical functioning?
This will help us plan well to support your accompaniment service. Please share whatever you are willing to - about physical activities or situations that are challenging for you, or particular needs you have for physical safety or accessibility.
Most accompaniers will spend some time in home-stays, possibly sharing rooms and even beds, with no AC in a hot climate, and with outside toilets. You don’t need to be able to “rough it” beyond that, but if you can – e.g. sleep on the ground, sleep in a hammock, use primitive bathroom facilities, manage even less privacy – let us know, as it may widen our options for where you accompany.
Do you have previous experience with accompaniment or similar work?
Please tell us about other past experience(s) you have spending time in spaces and cultures not your own. What was hard for you? What was life-giving?
How did you find out about accompaniment with PPF?
Please use this space to share any other questions you have or information you would like us to know about you.
